Open letter

There are a lot of things that I want to say

Things about my feelings from day to day

And destiny doesn’t give us an easy way

But after thirteen years, I’d say it come what may

I love you

And I still do

I don’t know how to stop

Saying the words might not even be enough

But I know that we can never be

For there are things more important than just what we can feel and see

It breaks my heart for it’s hard to accept

So there’s nothing I can do but to leave and just forget
